More About Kathryn

Kathryn is a dually licensed intern with a license in marriage-family therapy and a certification in alcohol and drug treatment. Her approach is to help her clients find meaning and purpose in life that often is lost in the midst of substance misuse. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Nevada, Reno. More specifically, she has conducted groups on trauma education, sexual health, intimate partner-violence, emotional regulation, chronic illness, anger management, and co-occurring disorders. Her therapeutic approach is characterized by empathy and understanding, fostering a supportive environment for her clients to explore and address their challenges. With a commitment to holistic healing and personal growth, Kathryn sets out to empower her clients, advocating for their overall wellbeing and safety. She believes in the power of the therapeutic relationship to foster resilience and positive change, guiding her clients towards a more fulfilling and authentic life.
