However, recovering from heroin addiction is more than possible. Treatment can help. If you’re here, you might be looking for a Nevada heroin treatment center for yourself, or you could be looking for addiction treatment for someone you know. Either way, you’re in the right place.

The Differents is a luxury rehab center that takes a whole-person approach to helping people heal from substance abuse and dual-diagnosis disorders. This page will go over our treatment options and services, the signs and symptoms of heroin abuse, and what you can do for a loved one who needs help.

Heroin Addiction Treatment at The Differents

The Differents offers life-changing, personalized addiction treatment. All clients at The Differents get a biopsychosocial assessment and work with their assigned therapist to craft a treatment plan that fits their specific needs. This is true regardless of the care level you start in. Here’s a little bit about how our withdrawal management, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, sober living, and aftercare services can help you or your loved one looking for a Nevada heroin treatment center.

Withdrawal Management

Heroin withdrawal can come with uncomfortable symptoms such as goosebumps, fast pulse, gastrointestinal distress, sleep disturbances, and body aches or pain. Our drug detox center in Nevada offers withdrawal management services to help you get through withdrawal symptoms from heroin or other drugs and avoid relapse, which can be a serious risk during this stage. Staff will monitor your symptoms, provide support, and adjust medications and other treatments as needed while you stabilize.

Partial Hospitalization Program

The partial hospitalization program (PHP) at The Differents is intensive, and with housing available, it can be an alternative to inpatient rehab. Clients in PHP at The Differners follow a full treatment schedule, and while we do ensure clients have time for rest and relaxation, there is little idle time. PHP clients at The Differents engage in regular groups, at least once-weekly individual therapy, recreation, and other activities. Therapies and treatment methods offered at The Differents include but aren’t limited to the following:

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
  • Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT)
  • Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
  • Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)
  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)
  • Motivational Interviewing (MI)
  • Mindfulness & Meditation
  • Art Therapy
  • Music Therapy
  • Adventure Therapy
  • Horticulture Therapy
  • Equine Therapy
  • Sound Therapy

We also offer holistic treatments and services like IV infusions, massage, and acupuncture. A private trainer, IV infusions, and other wellness services are available. Clients are allowed to leave the facility with staff, and outings (e.g., hiking) are offered multiple times throughout the week. Couples and family therapy sessions are also available.

Intensive Outpatient Program

The intensive outpatient program (IOP) at The Differents has a reduced treatment schedule compared to PHP. IOP can be ideal for those who need a flexible treatment schedule and are in a stable enough place to work or go to school while attending group therapy, individual therapy, and other treatment activities throughout the week. Many clients transition into an IOP schedule after PHP, but it is also possible to start treatment in IOP if it is the right fit for you.

Luxury Sober Living

Unlike those associated with most other treatment centers, our luxury sober living facilities offer private rooms, so you won’t have a roommate if you choose to live on-site while in your program with us. All rooms have storage space, smart TVs with premium streaming services, nightstands, lamps, dressers, and a chair. Other on-site amenities for clients at The Differents include but aren’t limited to an on-site full-size NBA regulation indoor basketball court, a two-lane full-size bowling alley, pickleball, tennis, an art room, and a music room.

Aftercare and Alumni Support

Like our whole-person approach to healing and luxury sober living options, the aftercare planning services and alumni support offerings at The Differents set us apart from other treatment facilities. Before you leave treatment, we’ll help you make a custom aftercare plan to prevent relapse. Alumni support options include but aren’t limited to continued individual therapy for Nevada residents as well as virtual groups (for any and all alumni), and biometric wearables. Like your treatment plan, your aftercare plan will be 100% unique to you.

There is a solution.
There is hope.
There is The Differents.

Signs and Symptoms of Heroin Abuse

It’s important to destigmatize addiction. Heroin abuse or addiction can start for many different reasons, and it can impact anyone. Part of what we do at The Differents is help clients identify the factors that may have played a role in their experiences with addiction and how to get their needs met in a healthier, more adaptive way.

For many people, understanding the signs of heroin abuse is the first step toward reaching out to a heroin treatment center for themselves or a loved one. Signs and symptoms of heroin abuse you may notice in yourself or a loved one include but aren’t limited to the following.

  • Spending a significant portion of time using, obtaining, or overcoming the effects of heroin
  • Continuing to use heroin even if it affects your ability to fulfill obligations at work, home, or school
  • Continuing to use heroin despite new or worsening physical or mental health problems
  • Continuing to use heroin even if it causes problems in your interpersonal relationships
  • Needing to use more heroin than before to achieve the desired effects
  • Being unable to stop or reduce heroin use, even if you want to
  • Using heroin in dangerous situations (e.g., before driving)
  • Gastrointestinal distress (e.g., nausea, constipation)
  • Slowed breathing or respiratory depression
  • Drowsiness or nodding off
  • Warm flushing of the skin
  • Constricted pupils
