Opioid Addiction Treatment Programs & Services at The Differents

Clients in the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) at The Differents have little idle time and follow a full daily schedule. After personal hygiene and breakfast, PHP clients participate in groups, individual therapy sessions, fitness, meditation, journaling, and other treatment activities until the day ends. Our PHP schedule is intensive, with a time commitment similar to what you’d see in an inpatient rehab center, so it does not leave room for other responsibilities, like work or college classes. We can help you or your loved one looking for opioid addiction treatment in Nevada arrange for time off of work or school if needed.

Partial Hospitalization Program

Our partial hospitalization program leaves little idle time and is designed to immerse you or your loved one recovering from fentanyl abuse in the healing process. PHP clients at The Differents participate in therapy and other treatment activities for about seven hours daily. PHP can be an ideal alternative to inpatient rehab. We can help you or your loved one looking for Nevada fentanyl addiction treatment arrange for time off of work or school for PHP as needed.

Intensive Outpatient Program

The intensive outpatient program (IOP) at The Differents meets a few days per week. Our IOP clients also attend treatment for shorter sessions on their treatment days compared to PHP clients. The IOP schedule at The Differents is ideal for those ready to return to work or school. While IOP can be a starting level of care, it's most often used for those stepping down from a higher level of care, like an inpatient rehab program or PHP.

Luxury Sober Living

Clients attending The Differents for opioid addiction can choose to live at home or stay in our luxury sober living facilities. Sober living can support optimal recovery outcomes, and the added sense of community and accountability it provides can be valuable for people overcoming addiction. We offer private suites for the comfort of our clients, some of which have private bathrooms. The sober living facilities at The Differents are just as remarkable as the rest of our treatment center, presenting clients with an expansive array of amenities to enjoy.

Withdrawal Management

Getting off of opioid drugs can be uncomfortable at first, both emotionally and physically. Common opioid withdrawal symptoms include sweating, shaking, muscle and bone pain, and sleep problems. We offer withdrawal management services for incoming clients, which may involve medication and other comforts or services (e.g., nutrition support).

Medication-Assisted Treatment

Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) can be life-saving for people with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD). The Differents offers FDA-approved medication treatment for opioid addiction combined with therapy. Clients in any of our care levels can take MAT if it is the right choice for them. Again, everyone is unique, and an individualized approach to treating addiction matters.

Signs and Symptoms of Opioid Use Disorder

Opioid drugs come in multiple forms, including prescription opioids and illegal drugs, such as fentanyl and heroin. However, the signs and symptoms of OUD are relatively consistent. Some people start out using one type of opioid drug and transition to the use of another later, but everyone’s story is different. With that in mind, here are some common signs of opioid addiction to look out for:

  • An increased tolerance for opioid drugs (e.g., needing to use opioid drugs in higher amounts than before to achieve the desired effects)
  • Continuing to use opioid drugs even if they cause or worsen existing mental or physical health problems
  • Continuing to use opioid drugs, even if they negatively impact your social or interpersonal relationships
  • Experiencing withdrawal symptoms or using opioid drugs continuously to avoid withdrawal symptoms
  • Reduced interest or participation in significant activities (e.g., hobbies you previously enjoyed)
  • Being unable to get off or decrease your use of opioid drugs, even if you want or try to
  • Doctor shopping, forging prescriptions for, or otherwise illegally obtaining opioid drugs
  • Using prescription opioid drugs for longer or in higher amounts than prescribed
  • Using opioids in risky or dangerous situations (e.g., before driving)
  • Lying to others about how much or how often you use opioids
  • Drug paraphernalia or hidden stashes of opioid drugs
  • Negatively impacted performance at work or school
  • An increased need for privacy or secrecy
  • Changes to personality or behavior
  • Cravings for opioid drugs

Common effects of opioid drugs include drowsiness, sedation, nausea, vomiting, confusion, constipation, euphoria, mood swings, trouble breathing, overdose, and death. Some people face legal repercussions, and addiction to any substance can impact you financially.

If applicable, The Differents can help you navigate legal issues. Rebuilding your life is possible, and we’ll be here for you every step of the way.
